I have this game on cassette with Vin Scully at the helm…Through much of the game Scully is bringing back Polo Grounds Memories such as football games, boxing matches etc….Highlight for me was when Mays stepped in to face Drysdale and smacked a triple….Elmer Valo was a pinch hitter for the Dodgers at one point….Scully you may know grew up in Washington Heights as a NY Giant Fan….He went to school at the Incarnation School on 175 street in Washington Heights…That school was one block from where I taught for 35 years…
